Privacy at a glance
Lisa Sudoku is published by Xavier Valentin. This policy covers the app and its optional features. For privacy questions, email contact@avdigital.fr.
Solo games run on your device without a Lisa Sudoku account. The app has no advertising, in-app purchases or advertising trackers. It does not automatically send gameplay analytics to the developer.
Optional multiplayer, invitations and sharing use the services described below. They are separate from your local solo game saves.
Data stored on your device
Lisa Sudoku stores the information needed to resume games and show your progress within the app’s storage on your iPhone:
- Current puzzles, entered numbers, notes, undo history, elapsed time, mistakes and hints viewed.
- Game history, completed challenges, Journey progress and rewards.
- Preferences such as theme, language, sounds, music and animations.
These saves are not uploaded to a developer-operated server. Your current solo puzzle does not sync between iPhones. System backups may contain app data depending on your Apple settings.
Solo puzzles, hints, lessons, daily challenges, Journey stages and monthly events work on the device without a network connection.
Friend battle and Game Center
Friend battle is optional and requires Game Center sign-in. Players exchange information needed for the match, including their Game Center identity and display name, the shared puzzle, readiness, progress, time and result. Other participants can see your display name and match progress.
These exchanges use Apple’s services. The developer does not operate a separate match server or Lisa Sudoku account database. Solo play remains available without Game Center.
Apple’s own handling of data is described in the Apple Privacy Policy.
Private iCloud invitations
If you create or join a private room, Apple’s iCloud and CloudKit services store the room name, participant identifiers, the sender’s display name, invitation difficulty, timestamps and responses. Records are kept in private or shared spaces accessible to authorized participants, rather than a public database.
An invitation expires after ten minutes. Expiration does not immediately erase its history: the app attempts to remove invitation events older than thirty days when the room owner refreshes the room.
You can leave a room in the app. Deleting a room you own removes it for all participants. You can also manage associated iCloud data through your Apple account settings.
Apple Watch
If the companion app is installed on your paired watch, the iPhone sends it your completed game count, current streak, Poulpi’s appearance and an update timestamp through Apple’s WatchConnectivity service.
This does not send your current solo puzzle to the developer.
Local playtest report
The app keeps local counters over a 90-day period, such as games started, completed or resumed and hints viewed. The report contains no puzzles, account identifiers, device identifiers or free-text entries.
In Settings → Playtest report, you can disable recording, clear the report or prepare a file to share. Nothing is sent automatically. If you choose to share it, you select the recipient or service in the iOS share sheet.
Clearing the report does not delete your game progress.
Sharing and stickers
If you share a result, Lisa Sudoku prepares text containing the puzzle difficulty and completion time. You choose the recipient or app in the iOS share sheet. The chosen service then handles the shared content.
Lisa Stickers provides 24 images for Messages. Messages handles their placement and delivery; the extension does not read your conversations. Transferring the sticker pack to WhatsApp is optional and requires confirmation in WhatsApp.
Services you choose to share with apply their own privacy policies.
Deleting your data
Deleting Lisa Sudoku from your iPhone removes the data in that local installation, including saved games and progress.
Uninstalling does not necessarily delete iCloud records, watch data, system backups or previously shared content. Manage rooms in the app and iCloud copies through your Apple settings. Messages and other services manage content you have sent through them.
Contact contact@avdigital.fr if you need help understanding these controls or want to request access, correction or deletion of information you have sent to us.
